The Strategist Behind The Longevity Triad

Gary Fitts brings a lifetime of leadership, long-range thinking, and disciplined strategy to the challenge of living a longer, stronger, and more capable life.

About The Author

Gary D. Fitts is a strategist, leader, and retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel whose life's work has been the study and application of resilient systems—first on the battlefield, and now in the pursuit of a long and capable life.

Raised in Covington, Georgia, his journey began at Georgia Military College and led to a commission in the U.S. Army in 1994. Over a distinguished 23-year career as a Military Police officer, his leadership was tested and proven on the ground during two combat tours in Iraq and in the aftermath of 9/11, where he commanded a company on the critical security mission at the Pentagon. It was in these high-stakes environments that he learned firsthand that success—and survival—is never an accident. It is the result of disciplined preparation, risk management, and systems that hold up under extreme pressure. He retired in 2016 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

His practical experience is grounded in a deep academic understanding of human behavior, holding a Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a BS from Georgia College & State University.  Today, Gary applies this unique blend of battlefield strategy and human insight to the mission of longevity. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife of 30 years, Kyechong. The principles in The Longevity Triad are the same ones he uses to build a life of strength and purpose for his family, including his two children.

Built on Purpose. Guided by Vision.

Our Purpose

To equip proactive individuals with the strategic framework and practical tools to take command of their long-term well-being by integrating physical, mental, and financial health.

Our Aspiration

To create a world where the principles of strategic planning are applied to personal longevity, empowering people to build lives that are not only longer but consistently healthier, more prosperous, and full of purpose.

The Insight That Changed Everything

Gary noticed a pattern.

Highly capable people were planning their careers and finances with precision, while approaching their health with scattered tactics.

What He Kept Seeing

Smart people without a long-term health strategy

Good intentions without a clear system

Progress built on motivation, not structure

Physical, mental, and financial health treated as separate issues

The Insight

Longevity is not built through isolated habits

It is built through alignment

When one pillar weakens, the others feel it

Real resilience requires all three to work together

What Came Next:

A framework built around Physical, Mental, and Financial longevity

A more strategic way to assess risk

A clearer path for building long-term resilience

Built The Longevity Triad by applying real-world strategic principles to personal well-being

Why The Longevity Triad Is Different

A stronger future takes more than good intentions. It takes alignment.

Holistic by design

Most frameworks stop at physical and mental health. The Longevity Triad includes financial health as a core pillar of long-term well-being.

Measured with clarity

The PMF Scorecard gives you a structured way to assess strengths, vulnerabilities, and patterns over time.

Focused on real-world resilience

The goal is not optimization for its own sake. It is to build a life that can absorb stress without falling apart.

Grounded in strategy

The framework is built for people who want a disciplined, integrated, long-term approach.

Strategy Means Nothing Without Measurement

The framework is only useful if you know where you stand. The PMF Scorecard gives you a clear starting point and shows you which pillar needs your attention first.
